1. Introduction and Purpose

Jaipur National University Ras Al Khaimah Campus (JNURAK) is committed to maintaining transparency and fairness in all financial matters concerning students. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds of fees may be granted to students enrolled at the campus. The policy ensures clarity, consistency, and compliance with applicable regulations while safeguarding the interests of both students and the institution.

2. Scope and Applicability

This policy applies to all students who have enrolled in academic programs at JNURAK. It covers all categories of fees paid to the university, including but not limited to application fees, visa fees, tuition fees, and any other applicable charges.

3. Applicability

  • The refund policy is applicable to only in case where a Candidate / Student has paid the University Admission cum-tuition fees and/or hostel fees in full as per the required fee-schedule.
  • Student whose admission is cancelled in consequence to any action of the government or for violation of any UAE laws or on account of any disciplinary action by the University will not be entitled to claim any refund of fee.
  • The refund of fees shall exclude the Application fee/admission fee/registration fee paid by the student at the time of taking admission into the course which shall be non-refundable.
  • The application for seeking cancellation or withdrawal of admission and refund of fees by the student shall be considered strictly as per the refund policy.
  • The visa fee shall not be refundable after the initiation of the Visa process.

4. Refund of Fees

The student or the candidate who fulfils the applicability as per clause 2 will be entitled to claim the refund of tuition fees strictly as per the following:

1 100% If the student completes the admission process but withdraws for admission before 14 days from the commencement of the class/semester.
2 50% If the student applies in writing for cancellation or withdrawal of admission within a period of 14 days from the commencement of class/semester.
3 0% If the student applies in writing for cancellation or withdrawal of admission after a period of 14 days from the commencement of class/semester.

5. Refund Process

  1. The student is required to make an application in writing for seeking withdrawal of admission and for claiming the refund of fees.
  2. Refund application shall be examined and considered in terms of the required norms and refund policy.
  3. The time taken to process the refund will usually take up to 40 working days from the date of consideration of the application.
  4. The decision of the University to cancel the admission and grant refund of fees shall be final and binding upon the student.
