Hostel and Accommodation Policy

Introduction

This Hostel Policy outlines the rules and regulations governing student accommodation at JNURAK. The purpose of this policy is to ensure a safe, secure, and disciplined living environment for all residents while respecting the laws and customs of the United Arab Emirates.

All residents are required to read, understand, and comply with these rules. Failure to adhere to the policy may result in disciplinary action, including penalties or termination of residency.

1 Rules and Regulation

In order to maintain a safe and secure living environment, JNURAK Residents has its own code of conduct. Residents are required to follow all national and local laws, as well as the customs of the United Arab Emirates.

Visitors Policy Parents/Guardians will be permitted as the only visitors on the basis of prior notice and approval. Visits may be scheduled between the hours of 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Residents' Curfew Timing (Monday - Sunday) All residents should return to Student Accommodation by 10:00 PM.

STRICTLY Forbidden Activities

Violating these rules will give you Violation Points, Warning Letters, Penalties, and dismissal of residency for repeating serious violations:

Trespassing opposite gender Residence. Allowing opposite gender in the room.
Breaking curfew timing frequently, without parental consent.
Usage of Alcohol/Drugs, smoking inside room.
Hazing/Ragging, intimidating or threatening other residents or residence personnel.
Physical violence against anybody in the Student Accommodation premise.
Disrespect to other's religion, sentiment or race.
Vandalizing, defacing, breaking residence.
Visitors staying overnight.

Security Notice: Do Not leave valuables in the room. Keep the room always locked. JNU RAK Management will not be responsible in case of any theft.

2 General Etiquette & Maintenance

Please always maintain the following:

Good and healthy Etiquette & Decent dress code.
Keep your rooms organized.
Always throw your leftover foods in the garbage chute.
Save water and electricity (Always switch off the lights, AC, and Heaters before leaving).
