As the University has focused on learner, centric education, it is using both traditional and innovative methods of learning techniques. The University has truly a national / international character as there are students from all parts of the country and from several countries abroad. University has also entered into collaboration with top national and international universities/research institutes. National Resource Management Division of the University is providing consultancy to the Government of Rajasthan in the field of Rural Development.
The University has been addressing the issues and concerns for empowering the underprivileged and the most vulnerable sections of society. The professional approach and creativity of staff makes a vital contribution to the learning experience and maintaining the discipline and involvement in research. All the four campuses of JNU are environment -friendly surrounded by lush green gardens.

Awards and Achievements
- Dr. Preeti Bakshi was awarded with Zonal winner of Jaipur in Bhasker Women of the year 2018 award ceremony under the business and Professional category. Mr. Sachin Pilot was the chief guest of the event.
- “International Leadership Award-2018” for her unmatchable contribution in the field of education. The award was conferred by World Peace and Diplomacy Organization at Colombo, Srilanka.
